Ellie Millard (Year 13) and Abby Welsh (Year 12) both travelled with the New Zealand Under 18 Women to Chengdu, China. The NZ team played some of the best teams in the world and earned a top 8 ranking for the tournament, which is an amazing achievement. Congratulations to Ellie, Abby and head coach Angie Winstanley-Smith.

We also had a number of girls represent New Zealand at the Australian State Championships in the October school holidays.

Henrietta Yarrell-Stevenson (Year 9), Chloe Sandor (Year 10) and Charlotte Manks (Year 10) were selected to the Under 15 team and Lucy Gilleece (Year 12), Leni Webster (Year 12), Holly Bricklebank (Year 12), Sophie O’Leary (Year 12) , Paige Ellis (Year 12) and Annabelle Imlah (Year 11) were all part of the Under 17 team.

Hannah Ngare (2017) was the assistant coach for this Under 17 team. The Under 15’s and Under 17’s earned bronze medals at the championships. Congratulations to all our Water Polo representatives on their successful results!
