The AIMS Hockey Years 7 and 8 team had a great start to their week, scoring over 50 goals in pool play. The girls went through to quarters, then semis, and only narrowly missed out on making the final after losing to a strong Kamo Intermediate in a sudden death penalty shoot-out.
The girls regrouped and were determined to medal. And that they did! Beating Otumoetai 4-2 to secure the bronze medal for the 2024 Hockey AIMS Games.
