This event marked the culmination of their selection and training with the U18 Light Blues regional team.

The pair competed in a Mixed 8 that won the U20 category, as well as the Light Blues Girls 8, which finished third in the Open Women’s category. Sybilla also raced in an U20 quad that secured fifth place.

These impressive results came while racing against older crews in the U20 and Open categories, contributing to the Auckland team’s overall success. The team finished second overall, with a combined total of 9 gold, 8 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
