Aquathon Championships
The weather cleared just in time for a scorching and challenging day at the Aquathon at St Kentigern College on Tuesday 18 February.

Despite a clash with the school Athletics Day reducing our usual Dio presence, the girls who competed represented the school with determination and excellence.

In the highly competitive Under-16 Girls category, Indie Williams delivered a dominant performance, securing a convincing first-place finish. Maggie Croft put in a strong effort to claim 6th place, while Chloe Ulmer finished 12th, ensuring all Dio individual competitors placed in the top half of the field.

The Team competition saw further impressive results, with Dio White (Frankie Dodunski and Zari Lindsay) and Dio Blue (Charli Manks and Hollie Lawson) both finishing in the top 10 in the Under-16 division.

In the Under-19 category, Celest Vo and Grace Larsen put in a fantastic effort to secure a 5th-place finish.

A standout moment of the day came in the Novice category, where Amelie Schnauer, who had previously only competed in the swim segment, made an incredible debut in the individual category, taking out a first-place victory!

Upcoming Event Update: The Triathlon originally scheduled for Tuesday 4 March will now be another Aquathon, as the necessary permits to close the road for the cycling leg were not obtained. Further information on this will be communicated in the next few days
